Everglades National Park (Florida)

Located at the southern tip of mainland Florida, Everglades National Park is the perfect place to spot both alligators and American crocodiles—and finally figure out the difference between them. It’s also a paradise for bird and mosquito lovers. Keep in mind that the park has three entrances, which are not connected internally. Traveling between them requires using roads outside the park and it can take a few hours.
Culinary tip: Just outside the park near the south entrance in Homestead, I stopped at Schnebly Winery. I could not try their wine since I had to drive, but the food was seriously good.
